What to Expect

TUTORING

Free Tutoring When You Need It. Tutoring is available by request at no extra cost. 
We check in each month to see how you’re doing. If you fall behind or get stuck, an administrator will set up a video meeting with you and help make a plan so you can keep moving forward.

JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES

Help Getting Ready for Work
We’ll support you as you get job-ready:

  1. Build a simple, clear resume and cover letter.
  2. Fill out job applications the right way.
  3. Practice interviews and follow-up steps.
  4. Learn smart ways to search for jobs online.
  5. Use local non-profits and government programs to find more opportunities.

Your Journey

1. Program Foundation
  • You’ll learn how Zoom works, what tools you’ll use, and what support is available. We’ll help you set goals that fit your life.
  • Apply online or schedule a call. We’ll walk you through the steps, confirm your details, and get you set up with your account and login.
  • You’ll get short lessons that build good habits: time management, staying organized, and asking for help. Small wins, step by step.
  • Start the Digital Design program. You’ll also learn Digital & AI Literacy—how to use today’s tools safely and wisely in everyday work.
  • Go deeper with hands-on practice. Build simple projects you can show to employers and add to your resume or portfolio.
  • You are not alone. You’ll meet staff and other students who can answer questions and cheer you on.
  • We’ll help you create a clean resume, practice interviews, and learn how to talk about your skills with confidence.
  • We check your progress and help you adjust your plan. If you need tutoring or extra time, we make it work.
  • When you finish, you’ll earn a certificate of completion. We’ll support you as you apply for jobs and reach out to employers.
  • After you finish, you can still ask for help. We’re here for quick questions, updates to your resume, or more practice before interviews.

Getting Started

Zoom helps adults who want to learn new skills and get ready for a better job. We work with injured workers, veterans, people in recovery, and anyone who wants a fresh start.

Programs and Classes

Our main program is Digital Design, which includes Digital and AI Literacy modules.
We also offer a growing catalog and electives like Photography, Culinary Arts, Cinematography, Fitness Training, and more
