What to Expect

Outlined below is a step-by-step look at what every student can expect when enrolling in Zoom classes. If you would like more information, make sure to check out our Admissions page. You can also contact us with any questions you may have.

TUTORING

Tutoring will be available upon student’s request. There will be no additional charges for any tutoring provided to student. 

Each student’s progress will be reviewed on a monthly basis. Any student who experiences difficulties with training program, and/or falls behind will be counseled by school administrator. School administrator will work closely with student to identify best possible way to insure client’s success within the training program.

JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES

The School Administrators can help students in their job seeking process by:

  1. Assisting with resume and cover letter preparation.
  2. Teaching students on proper ways to fill out job applications.
  3. Assisting with teaching students interviewing techniques and follow-up procedures.
  4. Teaching students job seeking skills. Specifically, how to look for work using internet. 
  5. Teaching students the importance of networking, and utilizing all non-profit and governmental agencies to assist in their job placement.

 

1. Program Foundation
  • Define Objectives: Establish clear goals (e.g., basic computer skills, job readiness, personal growth).
  • Tailor Curriculum: Customize materials to address the specific needs and challenges of the student’s goals.
  • Connect Instructors & Mentors: Connect experienced and empathetic professionals for live instruction and mentorship.
  • Secure Resources: Provide necessary tools (e.g., laptops, internet access, and accessibility tools).
  • Eligibility Screening: Verify candidates qualify for the program.
  • Personal Assessments: Evaluate skill levels, strengths, and areas for growth (digital literacy, communication, etc.).
  • Orientation Session: Introduce program structure, goals, expectations, and available support systems.
  • Self-Reflection Exercises: Journaling or guided activities for personal insight.
  • Time Management Training: Teach prioritization and planning.
  • Soft Skills Workshops:
    • Communication and teamwork.
    • Problem-solving and critical thinking.

  • Final Project Design and Planning
    • Students work with Zoom team to determine, plan and begin their final course project
  • Peer Learning Groups: Foster collaboration and mutual support among students.
  • Networking Events: Facilitate connections with industry professionals.
  • Mentorship Opportunities: Pair students with mentors for guidance and encouragement.
  • Alumni Community: Introduce the platform for graduates to stay connected and support each other.
  • Mock Interviews: Conduct practice interviews with constructive feedback.
  • Portfolio Development: Help participants showcase their work (online or physical).
  • Job Placement Assistance: Partner with local businesses and agencies to offer internship or job opportunities.
